Emma joined the N.C. Center for Health and Wellness in September 2016 as the Evaluation & Communications Coordinator. She works with health departments, hospitals and community-based organizations across the state to help them build a Culture of Results and strengthen their abilities to communicate, evaluate and develop their programs. Before coming to the Center in 2016, she served as Health Specialist and Social Worker for the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House Early Childhood Center in New York City, NY. Prior to that, she was Case Manager at an outpatient mental health clinic.
Emma spent eight years directing development for nonprofits to support children worldwide through feeding programs, education, and other critical social services. She currently volunteers with the YWCA Asheville and Buncombe County School District.
Emma has traveled to over 30 countries to work, volunteer, learn and explore.
