Jeanne Dairaghi

Jeanne Dairaghi is Project Manager of the Chronic Disease Self Management Education Program at the NC Center for Health and Wellness at UNC Asheville. In this position, Jeanne is focused on developing the Healthy Aging NC Resource Center and the statewide systems that support and promote the evidence-based Living Healthy with Chronic Disease Self Management Programs.

Jeanne received her Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Psychology with focus areas on women’s health and chronic mental illness. She is a Stanford University-certified Master Trainer in the Chronic Disease Self Management Education suite and is an alumni of the WNC Pathways for Nonprofit Leadership Program.

Prior to joining UNC-Asheville, Jeanne enjoyed working as a counselor at a women’s clinic, a research assistant on a child abuse and neglect grant, a case worker in vocational rehabilitation, and an adjunct Psychology instructor. In addition, Jeanne was cofounder and assistant director of the nonprofit organization Youth Empowered Solutions (YES!). She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin—Madison and a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Psychology from Purdue University.

When not working, Jeanne enjoys hiking, reading, and playing the bass guitar.
