Partnerships
Partnerships are at the core of the work of the N.C. Center for Health & Wellness
Medical costs related to eight common health risks among North Carolina adults are projected to reach $94 billion a year by 2015. So it is imperative to improve the health of our citizens. The N.C. Center for Health & Wellness will develop a powerful prevention infrastructure in North Carolina and work to connect health and wellness providers across the state. The Center will help increase the efficiencies, reach and success of health and wellness activities, as well as provide program evaluation and verification tools, training and policy guidance.
