NCCHW Convenes Its Inaugural Advisory Committee
May 17, 2012
The North Carolina Center for Health and Wellness (NCCHW) welcomed its inaugural Advisory Committee Friday to the Wilma M. Sherrill Center. The meeting brought health leaders from across the state of North Carolina whose charge is to provide guidance and support for the NCCHW in the implementation of its work. The Center has asked the group to provide reaction and feedback of current and planned work, to generate ideas, identify opportunities and serve as champions for promoting the NCCHW across the state.
Members of the Committee were selected and appointed by the Chancellor. The Advisory Committee consists of members representing leadership in the fields of childhood, youth and young adult healthy weight, worksite health promotion and healthy aging.
